Welcome to Lab/Jr., a dynamic, meaningful learning and artistic adventure for children (early childhood through elementary) and their families!

Featuring Lab/Shul’s unique God-optional approach to tradition, text, and story, our family programming is open to everybody – Jewish, Jew-ish, and everything in between. As a member of the PJ Library New York Partnership Network, we invite you to connect with other families and receive the gift of free books by signing up for PJ Library today.

FamilyLab

Our everybody friendly, home-based gathering for families with children ages 0-8 (siblings welcome) to guide your family through the Jewish seasons. FamilyLab is centered around the table; We celebrate holidays and delve into life-long Jewish values through delicious home cooked dinners, sing alongs, art, story, and interactive learning.

SoulSpa ArtLab

In conjunction with Lab/Shul’s monthly all-ages Saturday afternoon SoulSpa, ArtLab is open for children ages 2-10 (and their young at-heart grown ups!).  ArtLab is an invitation to imagine and connect, deepening our relationship with story and ritual through a mixed media art studio experience.

High Holy Days

Like a pop-up High Holy Days summer camp, Lab/Jr. Programming during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur features imaginative play, movement, music, and deep learning for children ages 0-13. Our talented team of artists and educators collaborate with the Lab/Shul Ritual Team and Artist-in-Residence to explore each new season’s theme through age-appropriate experiences.

“It was the most inspiring and engaging children’s worship experience. I have truly never seen anything that comes close to what you created. ”
