Hey Lab/Shul Friends,

Yesterday was the first official day of spring (never mind the snow storm – stay and safe dry!) and Passover is less than ten nights away. How are you getting ready?

My spring cleaning is in semi full force this week: kitchen shelves and fridge inspection, neglected draft inbox purge, juice detox, inspirational Seder poetry search. To learn how to DIY, as requested by many, you can listen to a recording of my Passover prep edition of Amichai Spoils Everything (featuring a guest appearance and nuggets of wisdom from my mother in Jerusalem!)

Along with the Lab/Shul Team I’m also working on making sure each and everyone in our community has somewhere to go for Seder/s. For the third year in a row we’re offering Seder Matching (thanks Dina!) but for the first time we have way more guests than hosts. In fact, only FOUR families have stepped up to host!

Can we please walk the talk of Passover and activate the opening lines of the Haggadah: “Let all who’s hungry come and sit!” Hopefully you’ve opened this email, and can open your heart and door to a new friend.

CLICK HERE to host – or be hosted!

There are also a few seats left for our First Night Seder at the JCC Manhattan, Seder Shabbang: SAYDER (Read Less, Say More), led by me, Naomi, and some very special Lab/Shul guest artists. Reserve your seat before we sell out!

Open hearts, open doors, safe storms.
