FamilyLab x Raising the Bar: Purim Dragtivity Time

Families with ages 2-8 (siblings welcome) + our Raising the Bar current cohort + Raising the Bar Grads (and families) are invited to a powerful Purim celebration with Drag Queen Story Hour and Sez Me. Drag Queens and Artist Educators will guide our children of all ages to look beyond stereotypes and embrace unabashed expression of self. 

As Drag Queen Story Hour teaches, “in spaces like this, kids are able to… imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.” 

In honor of the sharing and caring Purim traditions, we’ll be packing gift bags of essentials for the Hetrick-Martin Institute – a New York City-based non-profit organization devoted to serving the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning youth ages 13–24, and their families.
