Solidarity & Prayer Circle with Israel
Torah of Love Unscrolled

Today’s planned ritual of celebrating our sacred story with joy is now a circle of of solidarity with Israel, and a prayer for peace, hope and tranquility for all of us, everywhere.

With so many grieving and so much violence and unknown losses still ahead, we gather to gain strength from our ancient wisdom, with each other, with our loved ones in Israel, and with concern for the safety and wellbeing of innocent lives in Israel and Palestine.

Please join us – all ages, to stand in solidarity, to show your support for our family and friends in Israel, and everywhere, suffering during this terrible time.

There will be special activities for children, a ritual led by Rabbi Amichai and our ritual team, prayers for healing, and time for us to share our feelings and thoughts, reflections and needs.

All ages, all faiths. Open and accessible to all.

.This event is in partnership with The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life, as part of Sukkot in The Neighborhood, a 10-day festival held in a sukkah at Luria Academy of Brooklyn, designed by textile artist Hilla Shapira.
