On February 1, we will assume joint leadership of the Lab/Shul Board of Directors, as Co-Chairs. It is an honor and privilege to serve a community we love, in partnership with Co-Founders, Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie and Sarah Sokolic, Executive Director. We are grateful to our outgoing Board Chair – Jon Silvan – and the entire board for their strong stewardship, and look forward to building on their fine work, together.
Now more than ever, as the world grapples with deep uncertainty and division, we feel called to step up in leadership at Lab/Shul. The global and local geopolitical landscape demands that we, as a spiritual community, provide spaces for spiritual care, courageous conversations, and meaningful action, and we are committed to ensuring that Lab/Shul continues to serve as a beacon of light in these turbulent times. With hearts open and hands ready, we embrace this role, knowing that we are helping to shape a future rooted in love, resilience, and hope.

We hope you will join us next Friday evening – in person and online – for Sabbath Queen.
