Lab/Shul welcomes you to a special Sabbath Queen Shabbat ritual and feast to kick off our World Premiere Tribeca weekend. Join Rabbi Amichai & the Lab/Shul community, film director Sandi DuBowski and beloved community for a special, everybody-friendly, God-optional, artist-driven Sabbath circle of live musical liturgy, poetic and contemplative offerings along with great conversation.

A shared experience of sacred space and time, harmonizing Jewish and Zen traditions in the celebration of Sabbath spirit.

B.Y.O. Picnic with Lab/Shul for SHABasics in the Park! Musical jam, fresh challah, urban serenity and Sabbath candle light, a chance to let the week go, together.

Join us as we end the high holy day season Sukkot/Simchat Torah and begin again with the welcoming of Shabbat.  We will gather in a healing circle to end the High Holy Day Season with a ritual storytelling marking endings and beginnings, Face to Face, Breath to Breath, as our Sacred stories help guide us to begin again.

Led by the Lab/Shul Ritual Team and beloved collaborators, artists, teachers, healers, and musicians, our season of 2024-25 / 5785 Sabbath Queens will take place in person in the West Village and in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn, as well as online.

Join Rabbi Amichai & our Ritual Team for 30 min. special SHABasics ritual online, gathering around our virtual family table to light, sip, bless, connect and lean into Sabbath, body, mind and soul, together.  Bring your own candles, beverage and bread. Join us online.

Thanks to a generous donor, tickets for this screening will be offered to Lab/Shul Partners at 50% off the regular ticket price.
