Take Action & Keep the Earth Day Spirit Alive

April 26 – Gratitude Altars for Earth Day
Join Day Schildkret, Lab/Shul’s 5780 Artist-in-Residence on for a workshop making nature altars together as an offering of our love, our kinship, our grief, our gratitude for our home planet and all her inhabitants.

April 27 & May 6 – We Are the Weather Book Club

Join Rabbi Amichai and friends form the Green Team in a book club l
ed by our friends at Hazon, The Jewish Lab for Sustainability. They’ll be reading and discuss Jonathan Safran Foer’s book “We are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast,” on environmental consciousness. 

GreenHouse: Hands-on How-to’s for Greener Living
Zero-waste expert Amanda Lindner aka “The Enviromensch”  is one of our Green Team leaders, hasn’t owned a trash can in more than two years and uses her skills as a writer and speaker to help combat environmental injustice as featured in The New York Times. Join her for a series of “how-to” workshops on reducing our waste and climate impact, especially in the time of coronavirus.
