Ethical Wills: Our Tradition, Our Legacy
An interactive session led by Stephanie Levy
What is an ethical will, who needs one, and why? As part of Lab/Shul’s High Holy Day 2015 Season this introductory session will offer answers to these questions and invite you to explore examples of ethical wills from Jewish history and be guided to start composing your own.
This is the first in a series of sessions on ethical and living wills that will be led this fall and winter as part of Lab/Shul’s ongoing community programs.
Stephanie G. Levy is a clinical bioethicist with vast experience in urban hospitals and private practice, offering consultation in advance care planning (living wills, healthcare proxy matters), medical ethics consultation, healthcare decision making and patient advocacy.
