Welcome to Lab/Shul, an artist-driven, everybody-friendly, God-optional, pop up, experimental community for sacred Jewish gatherings based in NYC and reaching the world.

Family/Lab

  • 05:30 PM
  • Beloved, Clinton Hill Brooklyn

FamilyLab is a grassroots community meetup for Jewish or “Jew-ish” families with children ages 0-7. Hosted by families who live all over Manhattan and Brooklyn and centered around the family table, we cook, dine, make music and art as we celebrate Shabbat and holidays together. Shira Kline, Lab/Shul’s Director of Worship and Family Education – along with a talented cadre of Lab/Shul artists and educators – leads these meetups through story, music and great conversation. Ritual is done Lab/Shul style, with our everybody-friendly and God-optional approach at the center.
