FamilyLab: Bake for Good

Welcome to FamilyLab: An everybody friendly gathering for families with young children ages 0-8 (siblings welcome). Centered around the family table, we get a little messy in the kitchen for a whole lot of fun.

This month we are in between Jewish holidays, so rather than baking for ourselves we’ll jump into our kitchen to bake for others! With all the love and care that we devote to feeding those at our own family table, April FamilyLab asks, how do we feed the people who are not at our table?  Sign up early to receive instructions for how to find your local community center working to support your neighbors with food insecurity, and to learn about their needs.

Whether you are a regular Soup Kitchen volunteer or it will be your first inquiry into your local community’s service centers, ALL are welcome!

With Lab/Shul’s unique God-optional approach to tradition, text, and story, FamilyLab is open to those who identify as Jewish, Jew-ish, and everything in between. Shira Kline a.k.a. ShirLaLa, our Director of Family Education, leads these meet-ups through story, music, art activities and great conversation.
