1 shamash, 2 candles. Join our friends at Judson Memorial Church to light together the first night of Hanukkah and the last night of Advent. Light, eat, learn and share songs, secrets and stories. Hanukkah meets Christmas Eve at this interfaith ritual and celebration for all ages and all faiths.

LIGHT BULBS! We’re partnering with Met Council to light up the homes of low-income seniors. Please bring a donation of 60W Equivalent (energy efficient and individually packaged, if possible) light bulbs!.

Met Council’s Project Metropair provides free handyman services for low income seniors, working to eliminate safety hazards in order to help seniors age in place. Project Metropair staff helps with installing grab bars, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, door and window locks and screens, railings, electrical outlets, and more, allowing frail older adults to live safely and independently in their own homes. For more information about this service for you or someone you know, please click here. If you would like to volunteer or get involved, please e-mail [email protected]
