March to Count Every Damn Vote
November 7, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
| FreeMarch to Count Every Damn Vote
Join Lab/Shul and our siblings of action for a march to protect the election results.
While November 3rd might have been the last day to cast a ballot in the 2020 election, it’s not the last day to make our voices heard. Record numbers of Americans participated in the election. Mail-in ballots are still being counted and we need to insure that our democracy is protected.
With every Trump tweet, false conspiracy theory or refusal to accept legitimate results of the 2020 election, we’ll need to ensure that every vote is counted fairly, the results are protected, and to make certain that the year ahead is better, fairer, and more just than the past.
That’s why, on November 7th, New Yorkers are joining together for a March to Protect The Results, and we want you to be there.
Together, we can build a future where we decide what our democracy looks like because no matter what Trump tweets VOTERS DECIDE! We can create a future where all of us – people of color, workers, tenants, immigrant communities – have a voice and our families can thrive.
How to Prepare
- Watch the training videos “De-Escalation & Safety Tactics” here. The slide deck for the De-escalation and Safety training is here.
- Ensure that you know your rights with resources from the ACLU and the National Lawyers Guild.
- Consider inviting 3 of your closest friends to register now. You can forward them this email and send them to bit.ly/protestnyc. Ask them to sign up so that they too will get updates after election day.
