NIGHT: An International Tribute to Elie Wiesel and Community Reading of Night

Rabbi Amichai is honored to be one of the luminaries, friends, and community leaders paying tribute to Elie Wiesel in a community reading of Wiesel’s seminal work, Night.

Featuring Elisha Wiesel, Andre Aciman, Letty Cottin Pogrebin, Israel Consul General Dani Dayan, French Ambassador François Delattre, Tovah Feldshuh, Joel Grey, Sheldon Harnick, Jessica Hecht, Fanya Gottesfeld Heller, David Hyde Pierce, Bill T. Jones, Daniel and Nina Libeskind, Senator Joseph and Hadassah Lieberman, Sheila Nevins, Itzhak Perlman, Ron Rifkin, Geraldo Rivera, Daryl Roth, Consul General of Germany Brita Wagener, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and many others

The live reading will be from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M in the Museum’s Edmond J. Safra Hall and throughout the building via live simulcast with comfortable seating spaces so all visitors can join together as a community and share this moving experience. The event will be viewed across the country and around the world via livestream. 

You may arrive at any time throughout the program. There will be two intermissions at approximately 5 P.M. and 6:30 P.M.
The Museum opens at 10 A.M. and is FREE all day. Hear Holocaust survivors share their testimonies in the Museum’s Core Exhibition prior to the Tribute from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.
