Put it on Paper: Grief Writing Workshop

Wednesday, August 14
7:30 – 9:00pm ET
Online

Witnessing your grief through writing is a powerful tool for healing. Hear how grief writing helped two grievers as they navigated Jewish mourning rituals, and explore writing prompts to help you tell your own grief story. This experiential writing workshop will include the opportunity to share in optional small-group breakout sessions.

This is part of a 2-part writing workshop series with Shomer Collective. Put it on Paper focuses on both the external and internal experiences of mortality; grief writing (this program) is a space to engage with the deaths of others whom we have known and loved, while ethical wills prompt us to consider our own legacies. All are welcome to either or both sessions.

This session and series will be recorded. This offering is a partnership between Lab/Shul and Shomer Collective.

Please note that this session is not a substitute for grief therapy or mental health support. If you need referrals please reach out to hello@shomercollective.org.
