ReCollect/Yizkor
A Kaddish Gathering
Lab/Shul’s ReCollect/Yizkor gatherings offer grief support for those in active mourning, experiencing loss and/or observing a yahrzeit.
Whether experiencing a recent loss, remembering a loved one who passed away long ago, or showing up to support the community you are welcome in this caring circle.
Our final ReCollect of the season, before a summer break, will be on May 27th 12pm EDT VIRTUAL/ONLINE, during the festival of Shavuot, upon completing the counting of days (Omer) – a time of grief and wandering in the Jewish story of the Exodus. This is one of four times a year we gather in circle to communally mourn the loss of our loved one, share memories and hold each other at these moments.
This Virtual Event will be held on ZOOM – we encourage cameras to be on so our community can feel as in person in circle as possible.
