An In-Person Kaddish Gathering

Whether experiencing a recent loss, remembering a loved one who passed long ago, or showing up to support community, we will gather to acknowledge feelings of loss that can be particularly painful as we anticipate an empty chair at the table. We will share memories and poetry, break bread together, and recite Kaddish for our loved ones – the ancient memorial prayer.

Please note, this meal will take place outdoors on the rooftop, and masks will be required while traveling indoors to the roof. If you are comfortable sitting on the ground, you’re welcome to bring a blanket, as we have limited seating.

Please bring your own meal, as we will not be sharing dishes for safety. We ask that you not bring any dishes with meat in them, as we strive to respect everyone’s dietary practices and observances.
