Lab/Jr. ArtLab

An invitation to imagine and connect, deepening our relationship with story and ritual through a mixed media studio experience. Children ages 2-10 (and their young at-heart-grown ups!) are welcome each month to explore Jewish texts, holidays, and values through a variety of curated art materials.

Parental Guidance: Lifehack Lessons From the Ancestors with Rabbi Amichai

A monthly exploration of the classical rabbinic text Pirkei Avot, or “Teachings of the Ancestors,” with practical philosophical insights for more mindful lives and wiser choices at any age + contemporary illustrated commentary from Lab/Shul’s 5779 Artist-in-Residence Jessica Tamar Deutsch’s The Illustrated Pirkei Avot.

Guest Collaborator Katie Down

Sound artist extraordinaire, therapist, educator, and multi-instrumentalist Katie Down will be joining our ritual team for a full year residency, opening new soul space to explore the emotional and spiritual landscape of our relationship to Presence.
