Passover 2024 will be different from all other Passovers we’ve known. The violent death toll and displacement of Israelis and Palestinians, and the rising political tensions worldwide continue to inflict pain, rupture lives and relationships, raising critical questions of identity, solidarity and the ongoing struggles for human liberation.
Lab/Shul proposes FOUR NEW QUESTIONS to help us hear each other’s truths, engage in honest conversations, raise our cups to healing, life and peace, together.
SAYDER 2024 is our redesigned Everybody-Friendly, God-Optional Passover Seder Insert with four new questions to integrate into your Haggadah, however works best for you.
This Passover, let’s designate our Seder tables as sacred and safe spaces for sharing stories and questions, honoring all voices, and start to heal tensions as we invoke visions for repair.
Join us for some or all of 4 weekly online sessions exploring the question: How do we bring this complexity to Judaism’s oldest sacred storytelling ritual that celebrates legacy, survival and optimism?
Sessions will be led by Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, Lab/Shul Ritual Team & feature special guests including Aliza Kline, John Adam Ross, Jo Kent Katz, Rebekka Goldsmith, Libby Lenkinski, Mushon Zer-Aviv, and David Broza!

About Libby Lenkinski, VP of Public Engagement at the New Israel Fund and Founder/President of Albi, a new fund, institute and lab built to power culture change in and about Israel-Palestine.
Libby leads all aspects of NIF’s public efforts in the United States – including communications, digital, programs, events, leadership, community partnerships and engagement, New Generations and our fellowships. Prior to joining NIF, Libby lived and worked in the Israeli non-profit field for almost a decade. There she worked as Director of International Relations at the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) and as a strategy consultant for human rights organizations like Yesh Din and Physicians for Human Rights, for documentary films including Budrus and The Law in These Parts, new media initiatives like +972 Magazine, and for progressive campaigns. She is a founding member of Zazim-Community Action and The Whistle. Currently, Libby serves on the Executive Committee of the Inter-Agency Task Force for Arab-Israeli Issues and is a NY co-chair for the Reboot Network. Libby is based in Brooklyn and travels to Israel-Palestine frequently.
About Mushon Zer-Aviv
Mushon Zer-Aviv is a designer, researcher, educator and media activist based in Tel Aviv, and one of the founding principals of A Land For All – a shared movement of Israelis and Palestinians who believe that the way towards peace, security and stability for all passes through two independent states, Israel and Palestine, within a joint framework allowing both peoples to live together and apart.
About David Broza
David Broza is an internationally renowned Israeli singer-songwriter, recognized for his dynamic guitar performances and humanitarian efforts. His signature sound brings together the influence of Spanish flamenco, American folk, rock and roll, and poetry. Social justice and peace advocacy are embedded in Broza’s work; his 1977 hit song “Yihye Tov” remains an Israeli peace anthem. With over 40 albums released, many of which are multiplatinum, in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, Broza continues to tour globally both as a solo musician and with his various musical projects.
Broza’s charismatic, vibrant, and passionate energy is far-reaching and carries global impact. His presence as an entertainer, industry innovator and humanitarian continues to inspire and ignite meaningful listening for all generations.
