A Special Shabbat Celebration

Honoring our Brand New Rabbi

Amichai Lau-Lavie

Monthly Shabbat Mornings are Family-friendly musical worship events with Storahtelling-style adult learning, kids programs, and nosh.

This special Shabbat will be led by our entire ritual team, Amichai Lau-Lavie, Naomi Less, and Shira Kline, and a very special guest: Netanel Goldberg all the way from Israel! We will be celebrating the wedding of Elana Bildner and Ben Israelow, our B-Mitzvah students and their families, and dedicating our new community created Super Size Patchwork Prayer Shawl!

We will begin at 9:30am with coffee and light breakfast snack, conclude by 12:30pm and follow with a festive lunch.

9:30am – 10:00am coffee and shmooze
10:00am – 12:30pm worship, kids programming, and Storahtelling
12:30pm festive lunch honoring our new rabbi

Who?

Led this month by Rabbi Amicahi Lau-Lavie, Naomi Less, Shira Kline, and special guest ritual leader Netanel Goldberg, along with our guest ritual musicians Hadar Noiberg, Glenn Grossman, Michael Gold, and Isaac Everett.  We will also be joined by a team of our amazing old school veteran mavens including David Loewy, Deanna Neil, Franny Silverman, Naamah Imir, and Sarah Sokolic.

What To Bring.

Sandwich Materials! Please bring in healthy sliced bread, non-peanut nut butter (almond, sunflower, tahini, soy, etc.), or jelly for a hands-on community service project with our friends at Repair the World for the Bowery Mission.
