Monthly Shabbat Mornings are family-friendly musical worship events with music, singing, Storahtelling, kids programs, and nosh. Share, learn, and build community

City Winery (155 Varick St.), one of New York’s most unique wineries and the only one located in Manhatten.

Lead this month by Naomi Less and the Lab/Shul ritual musicians (Daniel Ori, Katie Down, and Shoshana Jedwab), along with our Mavens (Naamah Imir and Shoshana Jedwab) performing a brand new Storahtelling on Toldot, called “Love the One You’re With.”

What should I bring?
Thanksgiving bake off! Please bring in your best pumpkin, “pumpkin spice,” or Thanksgiving baked good to share with the community.
Don’t forget to label your dish with your name and a description, and to note if it contains dairy, nuts, or gluten!

Naamah ImirNaamah (Harris) Imir has been a proud Storahtelling Maven since 2006 and is excited to be mavening in her first Labshul Shabbat AM! In addition to working as an actress in various film, theater and TV projects (ABC’s All My Children, Paramount’s Not Fade Away, RI Shakespeare Festival’s Romeo and Juliet), Naamah’s greatest role to date is being a mom to her one year old son.

Shoshana JedwabShoshana Jedwab is an award-winning Jewish educator, ritual facilitator, hand drummer and emerging singer-songwriter. She is trained in bibliodrama, psychodrama, and the Maven Method, and was a Storahtelling company member as well as a founding faculty member of the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute. You can find her first sacred world music solo project “I Remember” on bandcamp.com
