With whole open hearts, Lab/Shul and the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care invite you for an intimate sacred night of deep reflection, shared traditions, and spiritual preparation for the season of forgiveness. Inspired by Selichot, the Jewish ritual gathering that kicks off the High Holy Days Season by focusing on the art of forgiveness, Sit + Sorry weaves together Zen Buddhist contemplative practices, ancient Judaic poetry, and stirring music.

This year also features special teachings from Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison’s new book, Wholehearted: Slow Down, Help Out, Wake Up, on reversing the habits that disconnect us. Following the ritual, copies will be available for purchase and signing.
