September 20, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm EDT
| Free – $18Tashlich on the Hudson: New Year Sail with Lab/Shul & Lady Liberty
Join Rabbi Amichai, our Ritual Team & Refugee Task Force, masked and safely distanced, at our annual ritual of letting go of the past – for a better future.
CAST & BLAST: We’ll sound the shofar, sail with Circle Line to salute Lady Liberty, get rid of our wrongs with breadcrumbs and bubbles and commit to doing more for a more just world.
BOAT & VOTE: In front of Ms. Liberty on this new year’s day we will commit to continued efforts on behalf of local and global immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
In partnership with HIAS we will activate Lab/Shul’s VOTE FOR WELCOME – an election season campaign calling on all elected officials to stand for the rights and safety of refugees and asylum seekers. Join us to sign up.
Can’t join us in person? The first part of the Tashlich ritual, 11:15-11:45am, will be on Zoom.

Want to help? We are seeking five volunteers to help organize on site in exchange for a free cruise on the Circle Line. Please email greta@labshul.org if interested.
