This Hanukkah, we invite you to join us as we add light, spread love, extend rays of healing and prayers for peace – from each heart and home out into the world.

Gather with us online on each of the eight nights to light the candles – Lab/Shul style. Each night will feature songs and blessings, with unique voices and special guests from our community, co-creating a global glow.

CANDLELIGHTING SCHEDULE:

12/7 – Rededicating our Light – To Life

Join Rabbi Amichai, Shira, Naomi & Ben on this first night of Hanukkah as we jumpstart the festival of lights with all three blessings, illuminating our intentions for peace, healing and hope.

On this night we mark two months since 10/7 and will light additional soul candles to honor the memory of every victim of violence and innocent soul who perished on that terrible day and in the difficult days since.

12/8 – Welcome Shabbat & the Angels of Peace

Welcome Shabbat and the Angels of Peace of ALL AGES as we light up the second candle of Hanukkah, highlighting the gifts of light and sacred time for your entire family.

12/9 – Three Stars on the Third Night

Count to three and light up the third night of Hanukkah as three stars shine in the sky to indicate the end of Shabbat and celebrate the start of a better week. We’ll include a taste of havdalah and inhale the aroma of fresh latkes.

12/11 – Heirloom of Hope

What IS the history of the Menorah?
Join Rabbi Amichai to light the fifth night with a focus on Judaism’s oldest symbol of pride, and then stay on as our guest and engage in interactive learning exploring the history and meaning of the Menorah as Judaism’s oldest heirloom of hope.

12/12 – Bring Them Home

Rabbi Amichai, Sarah Sokolic & Lab/Shul Board Of Directors light up the 6th night of Hanukkah at City Winery with special guests – representatives of the Hostages and Missing Families Forum NY, who will share updates on the campaign to release the Israeli hostages in Gaza and offer relief efforts to families.
