This is a pivotal moment for Lab/Shul, after 11 years of bringing to fruition a collective vision for a more inclusive, empathetic, and engaged world, and for Sandi, who spent the past 21 years documenting Rabbi Amichai’s life journey through his film, Sabbath Queen, premiering on June 9th at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. The film is a vibrant tapestry showcasing Rabbi Amichai’s visionary leadership and the birth and evolution of Lab/Shul. It captures Lab/Shul’s essence as a beacon of innovation, ritual, and community-building, and is a testament to the transformative power of Lab/Shul as a center of spiritual creativity and engagement.
Tickets and Sponsorship for the Gala are available at a wide range of price points to ensure accessibility for the entire community and to secure a thriving future for Lab/Shul as we head into the next chapter of organizational life.
Can’t make it to the Gala?
We invite you to share a blessing or well wishes to Lab/Shul or any of our community members being honored and recognized that evening.
