“We do not have to love.
We choose to love.”

Erich Fromm

Welcome to Lab/Shul’s fourth season of High Holy Days, back in Tribeca. Join us this fall to restart your year with intention and connection, celebrating a return to self, a renewal of spirit, and the opportunity to reflect and relove. Together.

With so much discord in our world, we chose “to love,” the instruction central to Jewish liturgy and life, as the focus of this new year’s journey. Core to our inner well-being, crucial to our common good, yet battered and overused, isn’t love, reclaimed, really all we need? Click here to read Amichai’s notes, sources and inspirations for this year’s High Holy Days theme.

Everybody’s welcome. Join us to re:love.

New to Lab/Shul? We’re an everybody friendly, God-optional, artist driven Jewish community, exploring new ways to celebrate holy days and make meaning of our tradition for all ages, all faiths, all needs, all year round. Come for live music, poetic liturgy, kids programs, interactive learning, healthy nourishment and inspiring conversations. Check out the video below or click here for photos from last year’s High Holy Days.
