Resilient Resistance in the Belly of the Beast

Rabbi Amichai is joined by Rabbi Dahlia Shacham from Haifa to pause during this Day of Atonement, explore a sacred story of soul survival, and share notes from the frontlines of the ongoing movement to resist despair, build bridges for peace across divides and create a better future for Israelis and Palestinians. Rabbi Dhalia and Rabbi Amichai both serve on the Executive Board of Rabbis for Human Rights, which is co-sponsoring this session.

All Faith Prayer for Healing and Peace

On this Day of Atonement, as we begin a year mid devastating war and growing divides, we call upon our faith traditions to help us hold sacred space for our hurting, hold hands together for healing, and commit to repair, justice and peace – by all and for all.

Led by our ritual team, with Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Zen-Buddhist Faith leaders, and with peace activists from Israel and Palestine, we gather to raise our voices together for the dignity of human life and the demand for justice, all-faiths as one, all people united in resistance to war and in the pursuit of peace, focusing not on what divides us but what unites us.
