“I arrive at The House Of Yes, the forlorn-looking event space where Lab/Shul is hosting its “Prophetic, Post-Patriarchy Purim Performance Party.” It’s a mostly late 20’s/early 30’s crowd with a lot of painted faces, gender ambiguity, and a few bared breasts. Lab/Schul employees and random attendees are friendly to the point of seeming Midwestern.”
