Invitation for Reconciliation

An invitation from Lab/Shul friend Yvette Benedek:

RECONCILIATION AND GLOBAL CHANGE: A WORKSHOP ON THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

Lab/Shul fellow members, I wanted to tell you about a special opportunity tomorrowSaturday night, to hear Parents Circle Families Forum (PCFF)* spokesperson and TEDx speaker Robi Damelin lead a discussion about the power of  forgiveness to bring about not only personal freedom, but global reconciliation.  Robi‘s son David, an Israeli soldier, was shot and killed by a Palestinian sniper at a military checkpoint in 2002. More than 10 years later, she explores how reconciliation and forgiveness with the man that killed her son can lead to a bigger conversation for nations and the world to bring about peace.
*PCFF is made up of more than 600 bereaved Israeli and Palestinian families all of whom lost a loved one in the conflict and are working towards reconciliation, peace and mutual understanding.
