Help us find the next member of our Lab/Shul team.  We are hiring a “Concierge” –  Operations Manager.  See below and please do share with qualified folks you know.

Title:  “Concierge” –  Operations Manager 
Direct Supervisors:  Founding Director (Amichai Lau-Lavie), Associate 
Director (Naomi Less), and some board member accountabilities. 

Direct Reports:   None at this time 
Overall Responsibilities:
The Lab/Shul Concierge works closely with the Founding Director 
(Amichai) and Associate Director (Naomi) in multiple capacities: 
  • to support seamless Lab/Shul programs delivery through production assistance, some management and communications work and team backend support 
  • to support fundraising and development team 
  • to coordinate volunteers 
  • to manage social media and light website updating  
  • to cultivate and connect with new and existing Lab/Shul participants  
  • to help foster the growth of community within this new organization  
  • to maintain the DRM/CRM software and all responsibilities associated with that, especially gearing up for June gala event, and fall High Holidays 
  • to support writing/write grant applications with input and guidance  
Compensation: $45,000 plus benefits Full Time 

Qualified Candidates:
  • are able to work well independently, and as part of a team 
  • have a professional appearance, temperament, interpersonal and communication skills 
  • possess excellent organizational skills and pay strong attention to detail 
  • have exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills 
  • are proficient in MS Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PPT) and are able to learn new software easily 
  • must exhibit excellent verbal/written communication skills 
  • can efficiently perform day-to-day office operations 
  • have basic wordpress updating skills, social media fluency, and familiarity with both PC and MAC 
  • Hebrew skills a plus 
  • basic graphic design skills (Adobe Illustrator or other comparable software programs a plus)
