Welcome to Lab/Shul, an artist-driven, everybody-friendly, God-optional, pop up, experimental community for sacred Jewish gatherings based in NYC and reaching the world.

Hey Lab/Shul!

Scroll down for crazy Purim pics (+ 2 important announcements!), then join us TOMORROW in Chinatown for Sabbath Queen, featuring the Ladino-Aramaic-experimental-rock of our special guest ritual leader, DeLeon‘s Dan Saks!  RSVP

1. LET THEM EAT CAKE: The good news? Our monthly Sabbath Queen has nearly doubled in size this past year (wow!!). The less good news? At this time, Lab/Shul can’t continue providing free food post worship to so many of us. Together with the Feast Team we’re brainstorming new ideas for sustainable and elegant post-worship food options going forward. If you have ideas or can donate time, connections, or resources, please email [email protected].

Meanwhile, we invite you to keep bringing delicious snacks, fruit and desserts to share with old and new friends. The bar will still be there, with requested donation.

2. LAB/SHUL TOGETHER: Just launched a new Facebook group for communication among the community, providing a platform to share opportunities for activism and partnership, and to support one another in moments of joy and challenge.

3. PURIM PICS: We promised something totally different, didn’t we? Photos from our crazy Purim performance experiment HERE.

Keep warm, see you soon.
