Welcome to Lab/Shul, an artist-driven, everybody-friendly, God-optional, pop up, experimental community for sacred Jewish gatherings based in NYC and reaching the world.

Let’s Inaugurate the Queen

Dear Lab/Shul,

An unprecedented moment in our history is days away. Scroll down for all the ways that we, together as Lab/Shul, are responding with love and justice.

We are ready because we know how to build community across divides. Last weekend we came together for interfaith worship and service – and for something greater than ourselves. Read the fascinating conversation between Rev. Dr. Derrick McQueen and Naomi reflecting on the weekend HERE.

And we are ready because we have a vision forward:

Co-create our Lab/Shul community organizing program tomorrow, the first of our three Activate sessions. For those who want to organize how we support one another, and for those who want to work towards justice. RSVP

This Friday we’ll gather to pray, protest, inaugurate the Sabbath Queen, and take our own oath for owning our values and rising as leaders – an alternative swearing in ceremony, Lab/Shul style. After worship we’ll have hosted conversations around our hopes, fears, and plans for action + DIY sign materials for Saturday’s march. RSVP

People power! Join Lab/Shul at the Women’s March on NYC in support of equality and civil rights for every human. More details coming soon – RSVP to get all the updates.

Together towards community, love and justice.
