In marking life’s important moments and transitions, what matters most to you and your family?

At Lab/Shul, we know there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all ritual. Our Ritual Team is here to guide you in crafting tender, creative, and soulful life/cycle events that are uniquely yours – grounded in your values, choices, and priorities.

Baby Welcome Ceremony

Let us provide a welcoming space for you to set intentions and bless your new human so they may grow and glow with their  community. We will co-create, with you, a ceremony that reflects tradition as well as your contemporary priorities. Email Shira Kline for more info.

B Mitzvah: Kids

Raising the Bar is Lab/Shul’s re-imagined, innovative and highly-personalized B Mitzvah* program led by Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, Naomi Less, and our community of highly-trained and carefully-selected educator-artists. Blending ritual, Storahtelling, age-old wisdom, individual expression, and hands-on experience, we will work together to reshape this important rite of passage.

Kaddish Club: Grief Community

Lab/Shul’s Kaddish Club, led by a dedicated group of volunteers and staff, curates and facilitates programs to support those experiencing a loss. We offer a weekly Virtual Kaddish Call and seasonal ReCollect/Yizkor Gatherings online/in person over dinner as well as other discreet programs that address mortality and loss.

Email Naomi Less to sign up for weekly reminders so we may carry and support you with love.
