Welcome to Lab/Shul, an artist-driven, everybody-friendly, God-optional, pop up, experimental community for sacred Jewish gatherings based in NYC and reaching the world.

McQueen and King, This Weekend

Hey Lab/Shul!

Meet Rev. Dr. Derrick McQueen.

Professor, LGBTQ Activist, Associate Director at Columbia University’s CARSS, Pastor of the oldest African American Presbyterian Church in NYC… and our special guest co-leader this weekend! In honor of Martin Luther King Day, we’re joining our communities together with two opportunities to gather, worship, share, learn, connect – and grow.

Join me and the rest of our ritual team at our 3rd Annual Interfaith Shabbat AM, co-led by Rev. McQueen and Chuk Obasi of Intersections International. Bring the kids – all ages, all faiths! RSVP HERE.

Experience Rev. McQueen’s inspiring Sunday Morning Worship at his community in Harlem, followed by coffee and facilitated conversation with Rabbi Kerry about our approaches to worship.

Feeling inspired?

Now, more than ever, let’s join hands. See you Saturday!
