Multifaith Vigil for the Charleston Massacre

A Multi-faith Vigil of Prayer and Scripture for the Charleston Massacre

 June 24, 2015

West End Presbyterian Church, 165 West 105th Street NYC

Please join us for a musical multi-faith vigil marking a week since the Charleston attack. We will honor the nine innocent lives who had gathered to study sacred scriptures by coming together, reciting, singing and illuminating nine verses from the Bible, as we pray as one for healing, justice and peace.

We will be joined by Muslim faith leaders and will end this ritual by inviting them to break the Ramdan fast with us at a symbolic Iftar.

List of presenters – in formation:

Rev. Kimberleigh Jordan / Rev. John Vaughn / Rev. Alistair Drummond / Rabbi David Ingber / Deacon Marcia Fingal / Amichai Lau-Lavie / Shira Kline / Naomi Less/ Asma J. Sadiq
