Primary elections are around the corner in New York City, and there are a lot of changes this year!
Check two ways you can prepare for the upcoming elections to get the information you need to be an informed voter. If you have any questions, feel free to email Sam@labshul.org.

1. Join the NYC Elections 2021: A Guide for the Perplexed
On Thursday, May 13th join Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie and Lab/Shul Partner Holly Pretsky, in conversation with Jeff Cotlin of City and State and Olivia Lapeyrolerie of SKDK, as they explore changes to this year’s elections, ranked choice voting, and making an educated choice as a voter.
2. Watch the Multifaith Justice Mayoral Forum
This past weekend, Eric Adams, Shaun Donovan, Kathryn Garcia, Ray McGuire, Dianne Morales, and Maya Wiley spoke with a coalition of 40+ religious organizations about how they will address systemic racism & policing, homelessness & economic disparities, and support immigrant communities as mayor of NYC. A special thanks to the last-minute Spanish translators, Maria and Sayuri, who enriched our experience.
