Lamentations on the Lawn

Lab/Shul style Eicha – full chanting and translation of chapter 1 and 5 of Jeremiah’s Lamentations + original nigguns and teachings on chapters 2-4.

Every soul needs to express itself. Every heart needs to crack itself open.” Rabbi Alan Lew

Just before NINE, join Amichai, Naomi, and the Lab/Shul team directly behind the Museum of Jewish Heritage for a very special Lab/Shul style reading-singing-chanting of the Book of Lamentations. With stories, heart, and intention we will enter into this sacred and auspicious time together as a community.

Please note, attendance at NINE is not required.

Kaddish Club

Join us on a beautiful Tribeca rooftop overlooking the river with a vegetarian potluck to break the fast of Tisha B’Av.

This will be a very special Kaddish Club as it falls at the end of Tisha B’Av. After a holy day of collective remembrance, we will gather together with the support of community to break the fast of Tisha B’Av and talk about our personal remembrances. As is our tradition we will be breaking bread together gourmet style on a beautiful rooftop near the water in Tribeca, very generously hosted by Janis Collado.
