Rabbi Amichai: The Ordination Celebration

On May 25 2016, the Jewish holiday of Lag Ba’omer, we invite you to join the Lab/Shul community at our Third Annual Gala – and a once in a lifetime event:

The Ordination Celebration of our Founding Spiritual Leader.

After five years of rabbinical studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, Amichai Lau-Lavie will be ordained as a rabbi this coming May.

Amichai is the 39th generation of a distinguished consecutive line of rabbinic leaders dating back to the 11th century.

And he’s had quite a journey.

We are excited and privileged to honor Amichai’s great achievement, celebrating his leadership and our evolving community. Come and co-create a moving and meaningful ordination ritual celebration – together.

The gala will be held at the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.

And it’s black tie.
