Welcome to Lab/Shul, an artist-driven, everybody-friendly, God-optional, pop up, experimental community for sacred Jewish gatherings based in NYC and reaching the world.

Radical Inclusivity & Sunscreen: June @ Lab/Shul

Hey Lab/Shul!

Temperatures are rising, and not just because we’re pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord (here’s some facts about climate change in case you find yourself in a heated debate). But it’s also officially summer, which means two things:

1. Welcome., our annual summertime celebration and fundraiser is just 11 days away! Rabbi Amichai will reveal his groundbreaking response to intermarriage + dessert, wine and original monologues written by Hanna Cheek (Waterwell Productions), Kate Scelsca (Elevator Repair Service), and Jon Adam Ross (In[HEIR]itance Project), based off of interviews with YOU. RESERVE YOUR SEAT or CONTRIBUTE to be a part of this new path of radical inclusivity.

2. Our LAST Shabbat worship events of the season before we take a much needed summer breather! Sabbath Queen: Sizzling Summer Potluck Celebration 6/9 @ The Invisible Dog  // Shabbat AM: Out Loud and Proud 6/17 @ City Winery

Scroll down or check out the website for the full calendar.

Stay cool Lab/Shul. Hope to see you this month!
