What a weekend!

With our kickoff to Pride month at our final Sabbath Queen ritual on Friday evening, we welcomed Shabbat as we celebrated the World Premiere weekend of the “Sabbath Queen” documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Then on Sunday, it was a Red Carpet affair where we got to share our Rabbi Amichai with the world at the Tribeca Film Festival. The core of the festival program is a main slate of feature and short films, highlighting politically, culturally and socially relevant films from diverse storytellers – we were thrilled to be part of it. We are so proud of Lab/Shul Partner Sandi DuBowski’s work and how he was able to capture Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie’s epic journey over the past 21 years.
