We’re excited that over 75 of you have already reserved a seat and welcome you all to join us  – even at the last minute.

Can’t afford it? Don’t want pay for prayers or on Shabbat? Come help us set up and clean up.  Nobody turned away.

 

HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT: 

nullNosh: Coffee, tea, fruit, home baked pastries, challah, juices and wine: Thank you Michael Dorf and City Winery for the gracious welcome- and Janice Levin for volunteering to bake!

Rocking Ritual Team: Amichai Lau-Lavie, Naomi Less, Justin Wedes and Suki Rae on guitar, accordion, percussion, flute and vocals to take our liturgy higher and deeper.

 

Kids Program: Lab/Shullers Sarah Gribetz and Lori Benson volunteered to lead a great program for the younger people – with help from world renown artist Ellen Alt.

Including – dramatized reading of ss will delve into the terror of Torah’s most troubling tale and invite all present to

nullexplore the meaning of this tale together. Expect the unexpected here.

Remember Rabin: Amichai will share a few words about the convergence of

this week’s Torah tale with the anniversary of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin’s murder – 18 years ago.

 

Liturgy Projections: We’ll be using our new Shabbat AM liturgy projections – thank you Craig Kanarick for helping to design these. Feel free to BYOB – as in prayer book. But we do prefer hands free Judaism..

 

I AM HOLY: For those of you were with us on Kol Nidrei and have asked for

Netanel Goldberg’s song ‘I Am Holy’ – the video is done, will premiere on Shabbat morning and shared with the rest of the community on Monday..
