Our Inter-faith Prayer for Peace invites leaders and artists of different faiths, along with their communities, to join our community for an afternoon devoted to channeling the spirit of this sacred day of atonement towards greater reconciliation, collaboration and peace on Earth.
This year, we are planning to explore some aspects of the biblical story of Jonah, and invite our guests to share with us insights and teaching from their traditions about this timeless tale of atonement, with a new focus on what spiritual visions can do to promote social change in the world.
How are we, together, asleep? How we can, together, wake up?
Our honored guests:
Imam Adeel Zeb,
Rev Roger Hambrick
Rev. Elannor Harrison
Sri Derek Newman
